That's all Sony Music Greece needed to offer him a contract right away.

The first album, simply titled "Antonis Remos", in 1996, reached platinum in a few months and Antonis became the new idol of the Greek music scene.

His second album „Time to go below“ was released in April 1998, and for the first time, some of the most prestigious Greek composers had given their songs to Antonis Remos. The success was huge and for the second time in a row the album went platinum.

Already during summer of 2004, Mikis Theodorakis orchestra presented the composer’s music written for theater plays and films, with Antonis Remos as lead vocalist. In August of the same year, he sang at the Athens Olympic Games closing ceremony.

Good music knows no boundaries as shown by the world tour of May 2008 when Remos toured three continents with Sakis Rouvas.

In June 2011, after a public vote, Antonis Remos won the MAD Video Music Award in the category for the Best Text, for the song "Cut Loans Now“as well as for the Best Singer.
